Morgan Culp will graduate from the University of Tampa with a Master's of Science in Instructional Design and Technology in May 2023. UT is her alma mater as she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Communication in May 2021. She is currently employed full-time at The University of Tampa as an Undergraduate Admissions counselor with her main recruitment territory as North and South Florida. She has grown a love for telling stories and sharing news with her community. She has also honed her skills in writing, shooting and editing multimedia and broadcast style news packages. During the pandemic, she was inspired to continue her education with a Master's degree that would better prepare her for the digital age we are exiting the pandemic into and found herself with a passion for Instructional design. GOAL STATEMENT
Morgan's professional goals for her future endeavors include creating inclusive and equitable instruction for all types of people. As a first-generation college graduate, Morgan has a passion for education and for access. With her background in media, writing, and interpersonal relations, she hopes to one day secure a position where she can use all of her skills as a creative instructional designer. Her ideal workplace would be a hybrid setting that allows for flexible hours and open creativity as she is very family oriented and thrives in a comfortable environment. She is a driven individual who possesses the characteristics to take on any new task and is excited to learn new things.
During her master’s program, she has gained skills that will support these goals, including:Â
•In-depth knowledge of learning theories.Â
•Comfortability in explaining and communicating the vital instructional design principles including the ADDIE model, ARCS motivational model, and Gange’s Nine Events of Instruction.Â
•Practical application of instructional design tools including Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, and Adobe.

Manages a territory within the state of Florida for UT recruitment efforts. Counsels high school students on nexts steps after high school, how to apply to UT, sharing information about UT programs and degrees. Plans large-scale recruitment events on campus and territory travel. Manages UT Parent and Alumni network. Manages UT Admissions social media pages.
